Sydney Water: Helping you power through the Sutherland2Surf
Sydney Water staff will be on hand this Sunday at the 41st annual Brooks-Caltex Sutherland2Surf, handing out water and useful merchandise to participants and spectators.
Sydney Water Managing Director, Kevin Young, said the community event, organised by the Wanda Surf Life Saving Club, is expected to draw over 7,000 participants.
“Sydney Water staff will be serving cups of water to keep all participants hydrated as they make their way through the 11km road course.
“We will also be handing out merchandise including special event race bags.
“Sydney Water has been sponsoring this great community event since 2008 and we are excited to once again be a part of it. We wish all participants the best of luck,” he said.
Roads in the Sutherland Shire between Sutherland and Cronulla will begin closing from 7:00am on Sunday 22 July 2012, with a progressive reopening of roads from 8:15am with all roads open by 10:30am. For more information see http://www.sutherland2surf.com.au/default.aspx
